Baby Bennett James Gray

The Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Bennett James Gray, who passed away on June 9, 2026, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Bennett James Gray, affectionately known as Ben Ben, was born on December 23, 2025, and met Jesus face to face on June 9, 2026. Though his time here with us was very brief, Bennett brought immeasurable love, joy, and tenderness to the lives of those who knew and loved him. 

Bennett was preceded in death by his Pawpaw Doug Johnson, Ma Martha Gray, and Grandpa Billy Joe Gray. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Kayla Gray; sister, Destiny Gray; Nana LeeAnn Johnson; Grandma Kathie Britt; Aunt JoAnn (Patrick) Hastings, Uncle Jacob (Sara) Gray and cousins, Raelynn Gray, Rebekah Gray, Dallas Hastings and Julianne Hastings. 

Bennett will forever be remembered as a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. The memories of his short life will remain cherished blessings in the hearts of his family. 

Heaven gets more and more glorious every day!! “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” 1Thessalonians 4:13-14
