Mr. Bryan O'Neal Merriweather

Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Bryan Oneal Merriweather, who passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Clarksdale, MS, at the age of 52.

Mr. Merriweather was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Latham and William “Bill” Merriweather; his son, Emmanuel Malik Merriweather of Decatur, AL; and his sister, Lasonya Rena Cox of Reform, AL.

Mr. Merriweather leaves behind his two daughters: Alexis Lavender of Northport, AL and Tamara Merriweather of Decatur, AL; two grandchildren: Kamarii Merriweather and Kyrie Emmanuel Malik Merriweather both of Decatur, AL; six sisters: Yolanda Merriweather of Tuscaloosa, AL, Knece Merriweather of Carrollton, AL, Daphne Sturdivant of Northport, AL, Pamela Merriweather of Tuscaloosa, AL, Amy Spain of Kennesaw, GA, and Tammy Spain of Carrollton, AL; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews

Visitation for Mr. Bryan Merriweather will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Northport Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 505 1st Ave West, Reform, AL 35481. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, starting at 12:00 noon, at the Pickens County High School Gymnasium, located at 205 4th Ave SE, Reform, AL 35481. Mr. Merriweather will lie in state 1 hour before the service-burial to follow at New Providence Cemetery in Carrollton, AL.
