It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Javier Gonzalez, who died on September 5, 2026, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the age of 50.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria; his sons, Santos and Gabino; and his daughter, Lupe—all of whom will forever cherish the memory of his love, dedication, and example. Javier was originally from Guatemala and lived in the United States for 20 years. Throughout his life, he was known as a hardworking, honorable man who was deeply committed to his family, friends, and community. He worked for 20 years at Piggly Wiggly and McDonald’s, where colleagues respected and appreciated him for his dedication and work ethic. In his spare time, Javier enjoyed his passion for cars and cooking, as well as spending time with his loved ones doing the things he enjoyed most. Those who knew him will remember his generous spirit, sincere friendship, and willingness to help others. Javier lived a life filled with love, happiness, and unforgettable moments shared with family and friends. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Javier Gonzalez. Your legacy of love, hard work, and dedication will never be forgotten.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 9th 2026, at Northport Funeral & Cremation Service. 5404 Watermelon Rd, Northport, AL 35473, at 3:00 pm.
