Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mrs. Lillie Kirkley, who passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Mrs. Lillie Kirkley was born on April 21, 1935.

More affectionately known as Aunt Bobby, Grandmother and Meme. She was born and raised in Tuscaloosa.

She worked for many years as a nursing assistant, all while taking care of many children and grandchildren. Her home was always a haven for anyone who wanted to visit.

She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was an extraordinary example of unwavering faith.

She was a kind, beautiful person inside and out. She will be remembered as a caring and loving soul. She will be deeply missed by too many to name.

She was devoted to her siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Jeremy Meggs for his exceptional devotion, he made her last years joyful and dignified. We will forever be grateful for his role in her life.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Freeman Leslie Kirkley; her children, Don Hodo, Teresa McGee, and Dana Burrage; her stepsons, Roger Kirkley and George Kirkley; her grandchildren, Lewis Kirkley, Chase Price, and Andi Burrage; and her great grandchild, Elijah Kirkley.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her stepsons, Randy Kirkley and Thomas (Mutt) Kirkley; her grandchildren, Tracey Hodo, Shannon Hodo, Sherry Meggs, Justin McGee, Mallory Wilkins, Hannah Hamilton, Meredith Harper, Jo Herndon, Alyssa Humphreys, Jason Herndon, Kathryn Deily, Josh Kirkley, Angela Renee Kirkley, Leslie Kirkley, and Keith Kirkley; her great grandchildren, Elijah Kirkley, Morgan Kearney, Madison Zilke, Wade Hodo, Steven Hodo, Ryan Price, Houston Alexander, Harper Ball, Karter Ball, Meadow Wilkins, Hunter Hamilton, Hayden Hamilton, Kenlee Hamilton, Stella McGee, Harbor McGee, Olivia McGee, Madelyn McGee, Cj Mayzck, Sarah Morris, Christion Kirkley, Levon Herndon, and Lyla Humphreys; and many great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kirkley's interment to take place at Memory Hill Gardens located at 2200 Skyland Blvd. E on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 2pm.
