Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Mose Daniel Whittington. Mr. Whittington passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Northport, AL.

Mr. Mose Daniel Whittington was born to the late Mathew & Ruby Whittington on October 31, 1951. Mr. Whittington was a beloved husband of 25 years to his loving wife, Ry. He enjoyed traveling, fishing & enjoying the beach. Mr. Whittington had a love for animals. He transitioned on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, losing his battle with ALS. 

Mr. Mose Daniel Whittington was preceded in death by his Father, Mathew Whittington & Mother, Ruby Whittington. Mr. Whittington is survived by his loving wife, Ry Woolbright; Daughters, Debora (Peanut) Stephens, Linda Woolbright & Lisa Findley; Sons, Daniel Whittington, Eddie (Jordan) Woolbright, Rime (Tiffany) Woolbright & Curry (Laurie) Whatley; and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family & friends. 

Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2025, at Northport Funeral & Cremation Service (Chapel) from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM. Service to follow at 11:00 AM, Presiding clergy, Scott Peters; Honorary Pallbearers, Rime Woolbright & Nick Chen; and Pallbearers, Daniel Whittington, Dawson Whittington, Jaiton Stephens, Larry Stephens, Eddie Woolbright, and Curry Whatley. Burial will take place at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery in Montgomery, AL.
