Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Carl Hollingsworth.
Carl DeWayne Hollingsworth, 52, of Coker, AL went to be with his Lord and Savior in eternal peace on October 6, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama. Carl graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School and worked tirelessly for years to provide for his family.
Carl was predeceased by his sister, Angie. He is survived by his wife, Nannett Hollingsworth, his father and mother, Bruce Hollingsworth and Gail Hollingsworth, his brother, Wesley (Lynn), his sister, Mindy, his three children, Amber, Tyler, Joey, 5 nieces and nephews, numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Carl was an avid NASCAR fan and loved watching the Alabama Crimson Tide football team roll to victory every year. He also loved making regular trips to the Great Smokey Mountains as often as possible along with hunting. He had a never-ending love for all his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to Hospice of West Alabama. They would also like to thank the staff at DCH and Hospice of West Alabama for all their care and compassion during his time with them. The family would like to thank those that have already shown their support and love during this time.
A private family memorial will be held to celebrate the life of Carl. His ashes will be spread among the Great Smokey Mountains per his request.
