Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Carlisle Reid Stephenson, Jr., age 77, of Tuscaloosa, died November 10, 2021, at DCH Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Stephenson, father, Carlisle Reid Stephenson, and brother, Warren/Van Stephenson.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Karolyn Elizabeth Stephenson (Seckinger), his son, Dr. Carlisle Reid Stephenson III and his wife, Cynthia Forrester Stephenson (Doran), grandson, Shane Gray Stephenson (23), granddaughter, Lindsay Reid Stephenson (20), and sister, Barbara S. McKenzie.
Carlisle graduated from Auburn University in June of 1968 and began his career with the Navy Department and moved from the Washington, DC area to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Carlisle enjoyed his family vacations at Sanibel Island where fishing was a daily event. He will be remembered at a family memorial at Sanibel Island.
Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.
