Mr. Charles Richard Kemp

Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Charles Kemp.

Mr. Charles Richard (Ricky) Kemp, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Mr. Kemp was preceeded in death by his parents, Walter & Helen Kemp; his fraternal twin brother Micky Kemp, and his sister Donna Kemp Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Brad Kemp of Tuscaloosa, AL; two sisters, Wanda Kemp Curtis (Robin), and Susan Hughes Harris (Pat) both of Tuscaloosa, AL; one granddaughter, Victoria Kemp Ryland (Harley) of Northport, AL; and 3 & 1/2 great grandchildren.

Mr. Kemp was a man that loved fishing, onion rings, Nascar, and Alabama Football! He had such a good heart and soul, and he will be missed by us all! The family would like to thank his CIUC and TSICU nurses for such great care and his doctors, Dr. Corder, Dr. Wilkes, Dr. Hoffman were absolutely amazing. Our appreciation and thanks goes to you all.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 1:00pm at SOMA Church with Shawn Faulkner officiating. His ashes will be spread at a later date.
