Chester Hollis Booth, age 87, of Buhl, AL went to be with the Lord on August 29th, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bascomb and Mamie Booth; sisters, Mable Burroughs, Mary Emma Crocker, Eunice McIntosh, and Gertrude Montgomery; brothers, Homer Booth, Glenn Booth, and Waldon Booth.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mable Booth; daughters, Melinda Duren (Eric) and Anita Powell (Fred); grandchildren, Lori Burroughs (Scottie), Wes Powell, and Matthew Powell, Amanda Duren, Andrew Duren, and Trae Duren; great-grandchildren, Reece Burroughs, Will Burroughs, and Baker Morris.

Pallbearers for Chester will be Wes Powell, Matthew Powell, Andrew Duren, Trae Duren, Brad Booth, and Richard Burroughs.

The graveside service will be Friday, August 30th, 2024 at 4 P.M. at Union Grove Baptist Church located at 15809-15819 Romulus Rd Buhl, AL 35446.
