Clay would play music for the rest of his life. Music was to Clay as air is to everyone else. He spoke in the language of melodies & notes; when words failed him, he could always count on the music to express himself. He lived his life with such harmony in his heart that it spilled into everything he touched. Clay showed a special kindness & compassion to everyone he met. His heart was full of love & tenderness for all humanity, & he showed that love in every action he took. He never met strangers but instead, met friends. We will miss his light & life more than words can express. He colored our lives with such joy that it's hard to imagine living without the laughter & bliss that followed him everywhere he stepped. But we know that his light still remains in this temporary darkness we find ourselves in. We know that his love still remains within all of us, & we know that the song of Clay's life will never fade. We will remember him always. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of West AL. Northport Funeral & Cremation Service will be in charge of all arrangements.
