Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Edward Day. Mr. Day passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in Flower Mound, TX.

Edward Dale Day, 72, passed away on December 7, 2021, in Flower Mound, Texas. He was born on November 7, 1949, to Dale and Audrey Campbell Day, in Naples, Texas.

He joined the United States Army in January 1969 and was discharged in 1971 as an E-4. He served as an aircraft mechanic and worked in helicopter maintenance. He served in Germany in an armory unit. He also served three years as an inactive reservist.

He worked for many years for Haliburton and Wal-Mart.

Mr. Day was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, and both of his parents.

He is survived by his Children:
Audrey Day, Stormi (Day) Ellis & Husband Brandon, Terinda (Barto) Ancog & Husband Chad, Keith Barto & partner Jennifer, and Paul Barto. He is survived by 3 Grandsons: Dakota Day, Bradley Ellis and Andrew Ellis. He is also survived by two sisters: Martha Fregia, and Mary Thomas & Husband Darrell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He attended West Brookwood Church in Brookwood, Alabama, where he loved to play guitar for the praise team.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. December 27th at Taylorville Cemetery.

Donations may be made to West Brookwood Church in his memory, or a charity of your choice.

Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees of services and visitations are required to wear a mask and attempt to maintain 6ft social distancing.
