Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. Irvin Stone. Mr. Stone passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Irvin Glenn Stone of Moundville, AL was born on January 26, 1944. He went to his eternal home on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Hospice of West Alabama.

Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his father, William Dee Stone; his mother, Modena Stone; and his late wife, Amy Stone.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Stone; daughters, Katrina (Ron) White and Scarlet (Wayne) York; sons, Zach (Stacy) Stone and Michael (Amanda) Taylor; brother, William Wayne Stone; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Mr. Stone will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 1:00pm at Community Baptist Church (Hwy 69 S) in Moundville, AL., with Zach Stone officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are staff of Northport DCH, Dr. Timothy Prestley, Late Dr. Larry Skelton and Staff, Hospice of West Alabama, Eric Murray, and Ollie Evans.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of West Alabama.

Following the service the church will provide food for the family.
