James “Jamie” Douglas Watts was born on December 19, 1968 to James Edward Watts and the late Margaret Wright Watts of Tuscaloosa, AL. On Thursday September 1, 2022 he left us to go to his final resting place in Heaven.
Jamie was a hard working man that loved his family dearly. He was truly one of a kind and talented in many ways. Jamie had a big heart for animals, especially his chihuahua “Pookie”.
One of the most memorable things about Jamie was the funny things he would say and do. He could always put a smile on your face.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Joe and Stella Watts, Gordon Wright and Gretal Ragland
And his Mother Margaret Wright Watts.
He is survived by his Father James Edward Watts(Rachel), The love of his life Cindy Maharrey, two sons James Matthew Watts, James Tyler Watts and a step-son Randall Keith Fondren. A sister Tracey Watts Smith and a niece Keira Smith. And a special bonus Mom Billie Ruth Boatner and all of her family.
Public Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Gilgal Baptist Church (3000 Bear Creek Road East, Duncanville, AL 35456). Funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery across the street.
