Mr. James H. Windle Jr.

James H. Windle Jr. was born to James H. Windle Sr. and Clara M. Windle on May 22, 1950, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at DCH Regional Medical Center, James passed away peacefully. He is forever with the Lord.

James retired from Hanna Steel Corporation after almost 29 years, where he was well-loved and respected. James loved vacations in the Tennessee Mountains and taking long rides with Nora and friends.

James is preceded in death by his parents, James H. Windle Sr. and Clara M. Windle, and his brother, Robert Windle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 1/2 years, Nora Windle; daughter, Patti (Lee) Loftis; son, Bryan (Karen) Windle; stepson, Kurt (Jennifer) Browning; sisters, Martha Jo (Joe) Mize, and Mary Ellen (Denny) Turner; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Mr. Windle at 1pm on March 28, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Church of Jena, 700 County Road 156, Ralph, AL 35480.
