John Michael Pate, age 51, of Elrod, Al, Passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. To respect Michael's wishes, there will be no memorial or funeral services.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Monroe Pate; grandparents Mildred and Ralph Pate, R.M.Jones and Marjorie L. Hosmer.

He is survived in death by his wife of 26 years, Lisa Nelson Pate; Mother, Sandra Lynn Harris; daughters, Austyn Pate, Sierra Elmore (Jessie), and Katie Osborne (Ben); Son, James Pate; and five grandchildren.

He was born in Tuscaloosa Alabama, on August 9, 1970. He was most widely known for his occupation as a tow truck driver and he ended his career at Gordo Tire. Michael was a wonderful husband, father, and son. He had the biggest heart and loved his wife, children, and family very deeply.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to “Mikes giving Tuesday fundraiser for Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue, Acworth GA” on Facebook. Michael absolutely loved his ferrets and enjoyed following Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue.
