Michael Lee Edmondson passed away at his home in Cottondale on April 11, 2023. Michael fought a short but hard fight with cancer. Michael was born on April 22, 1967 and was 11 days shy of his 56th birthday.

Michael is survived by his wife Connie Edmondson, daughters Kristen Edmondson(Patrick), Susan Snider(Carson) & Stacy Edmondson, grandchildren Will, Holden, Rylee, Owen, & Brody, fur baby Zoe Brooke, brothers Phillip Edmondson & Stephen Edmondson, cousin Amberley Sanford, & aunts Jean Cannon, Della Swindle Smith, & Betty Swindle Duncan.

Michael is proceeded in death by his grandfather Blenard Edmondson, grandmother Gussie Edmondson, father Victor Lee Edmondson, mother Ruby Swindle Floyd, aunt Ellen "Sue" Sanford, & uncle Aaron Edmondson.

Michael had a love for life and “fear” was never in his vocabulary. He spent his days working, his weekends fishing & camping, & his afternoons with his family & friends. Michael was humble & so proud of the life he built for his family. He was loved by so many.

A celebration of life will be held for Michael on his birthday, Saturday April 22nd at 1pm. It will be held at Coaling Baptist Church.
