Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Norman Bobb, who passed away on August 2, 2026, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Gamron; his daughter, Diane Bobb Wurtele; his sister, Joyce Enloe; two grandchildren, Joseph Houston Wurtele, Jr., and William Matthew Wurtele; and two great-grandchildren, Jack Henry Wurtele and Mason James Wurtele.

Norman William Bobb, Age 88, a resident of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on August 2, 2026. He was born in Seymour, Indiana, and attended Immanuel Lutheran School and Shields High School, graduating from Purdue University in 1960. Norman started working at Arvin Industries after graduating as an Industrial Engineer. He became Plant Manager of the Arvin Plant in Fayette, Alabama, in 1968. While living in Fayette, he was actively involved in community activities and attended Fayette First United Methodist Church. In 1988, he transferred to Franklin, Indiana, where he was a plant manager. He then retired in 1995 as Director of Manufacturing Operations for Arvin Industries.
