Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. James Shannon Stamps. Mr. Stamps passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Northport, AL. 

Mr. James Shannon Stamps was a young man that had a hard life, he loved his children more than they will ever know, Shannon loved music and time spent on the water, doing these things helped him reflect on life an relax, he was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew him. We have comfort in knowing Shannon is finally at peace. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 11am-11:30am at the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel in Northport, AL.

 Funeral service will follow at 11:30am

Mr. Stamps is proceded in death by his Grandparents; Sam Stamps, Frances Fields, James Moreland and Audrey Ruth Moreland, and his stepfather, Kenneth Johnsen. 

Mr. Stamps is survived by his Daughter, Candace Shannon Stamps; his stepson, Joshua Rudlaff of Dowagiac, MI. He is also survived by his parents, James Michael Stamps and Melissa Moreland Johnsen; one sister, Cheyenne Johnsen Crowders (Charles). 

Honorary Pallbearers: Jordan Crowders, Abigayle Crowders, Randall Phelps, Laura Lipscomb, and family and friends.
