We are sad to inform you that Terry Wallace, 74, of Flatwoods, Alabama has passed away on December 8th, 2022.

Terry Wallace was truly an amazing man. He was completely selfless and would do anything to help a stranger and even more for his loved ones. He loved the outdoors, traveling with his family, working on cars, woodworking, working with his brothers and spoiling his sisters. Terry will be missed by all of his loved ones so much.

Terry was born in April 23, 1948 to Richard Wallace and Nola Gurganus Wallace in Corona, Alabama.

Terry graduated as valedictorian from Berry High School in 1967. He was granted a full scholarship to Auburn University but rejected the offer to help his family after his father was injured in an accident at work.

He worked at Alabama Power for 38 years where he met the love of his life, Linda Whitley Wallace in 1978. They were married for 44 years and grew a family of 2 children, 2 daughter in laws and 2 grandchildren whom they loved very much.

Terry is preceded by both of his parents, his brother Donald Wallace, his brother Crienton and his sister Betty Wallace Waid.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda Wallace, his son Brian Wallace (Shannon, wife; Weston, son), his son Richard Wallace (Dani, wife; Charles, son), his brother Charles Wallace (Frances, wife), his sister Bessie Sides Wallace, his brother Richard Truman Wallace (Ann, wife) and his brother Darrell Wallace (Kim, wife).

Graveside services will be held at Flatwoods Cemetery on Brandon School Road in Berry, AL from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday December 10th.

Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees of services and visitations are required to wear a mask and attempt to maintain 6ft social distancing.
