Thomas “Trey” Ray Whitley

Trey Whitley, 32, of Coker, AL passed away Wednesday April 13, 2022 at home. Services will be held Monday April 18, 2022 at 2pm with visitation beginning at 12pm, at Harvest Church. Graveside to follow at Coker Cemetary. Funeral will be officiated by Brother Mickey Caldwell and guest speaker Brett Taft. Music will be played by Brandon Malone.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather James Collins and grandmother Martha Collins. 

Trey is survived by his parents Kenny and Nita Whitley; sisters Casey Sansom (Cliff), Lacey Keeth (Matt); nieces Whitleigh Keeth and Addie Blake Sansom; grandparents Don and Mildred Whitley; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Trey loved hunting, fishing, camping, and anything that included being outside. He loved spending time at Aunt Kim and Uncle David's house on the river and talking about food with Mamaw and Papaw. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Trey had many nicknames during his life but his most treasured name was “T”, given to him by his precious girls. His nieces were so important to him, and he enjoyed being their uncle. Anyone that knew him knew his occupation was an unlicensed car salesman. Trey loved to buy trucks, boats, and 4 wheelers. He loved to soupe ‘em up and sell ‘em. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him. 

Pallbearers will be Dillon Kelly, Dawson Kelly, Tristan Taylor, Cody Williams, Matthew Madison, Jacob Channell, Scott Smith, Stevie Smith, and Brad Boothe. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Dillon Driver, Tyler Fondren, Dale Cook, Rose Snyder, David and Tammy Walker, Alabama Crimson Riders, Allison Hayes, Johnathan Melton, The Heart Transplant Team of UAB, Westwood Elementary School & TCSS CNP, Customers of Don’s Barber Shop, and SouthernCare New Beacon.
