Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mr. William Charles Jackson III, who passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the age of 74, in Tuscaloosa, AL.

William Charles Jackson III, Bill to all, passed away at Hospice of West Alabama.

Bill was born on August 19, 1951, to parents William Charles Jackson Jr. and Betty Chambers Jackson in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Bill graduated in 1970 from Tuscaloosa High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. NAVY and served our country for four years. He then returned to Tuscaloosa and joined his parents in operating their family business, University Cleaners.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Kimberly Green Jackson. He is survived by his children, Mary Meigs Jackson and William Reid Jackson, sisters, Lane Jackson Sims and Patricia Jackson Bowman (+ her husband Randy), and his lifelong best friend, Crosby Thomley.

A service will be held at a later time. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian, 900 Greensboro Ave., Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, or Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Rd., Tuscaloosa, AL. 35404.
