Funeral Services for Mr.Whitfield will be Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Kennedy, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Northport, Alabama. A public viewing will be Friday, May 4, 2012 from 11:00 until 5:00 in the chapel at Northport Funeral & Cremation Service. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Rev. Jesse Miller, Sr. who served as Mr. Whitfileld pastor.
