Mr. W.L. Hearing, age 78, of Northport, went to his heavenly home on September 8, 2023, after battling MDS the last two years. He was born in Atlanta, Ga on July 5, 1945. Mr. Hearing retired from Liberty National Life Insurance.
Mr. Hearing is preceded in death by his parents W.L. Hearing Sr. and Mae Hill Hearing.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia (Trish) Waldrop Hearing; three sons: Mark (Kristy) Hearing, Mike (Paula Smith Mount) Hearing, & Tony (Jessica) Bush; one daughter, Angie (Jonathan Beavers) Bush Clark; six grandsons, Trevor (Cayla) Hearing, Tanner, Tyler, & Cody Hearing, Austin & Logan Clark; five granddaughters, Katelin (John) Hearing Olvey, Lauren (Kirby) Hearing Brown, Amber L. Daniels, Hayley N. (Jackson Leach) Bush & Savannah (Kadin) Shuttlesworth, and five great granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama, The Cancer Care Center of Tuscaloosa, The American Cancer Society, or any Blood Bank Services. People's lives depend on blood donations!
Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees of services and visitations are required to wear a mask and attempt to maintain 6ft social distancing.
