Mrs. Cora Craig was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Craig; her father and mother, J.C. and Mary Lee Barnes; her sister, Starr Lee Barnes; and two brothers, Eddie Lee Barnes and Jerome Jernigan.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her daughter, Darcel Barnes; four sisters, Mildred Kirkland, Gracie Williams, Laura Barnes, and Sherrie Smith; two brothers, J.C. Barnes Jr. and Jarvis Jernigan; two grandchildren, Amia Barnes and Amaya Barnes; and two great-grandchildren, Journi and Jordyn Barnes.

Mrs. Craig will have a private family visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Mrs. Craig's funeral service will take place Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11 AM at Providence Baptist Church located in Aliceville, AL 35442, with Reverend Quienton Prude officiating.
