Mrs. Diane LaPierre

Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Mrs. Diane LaPierre.

Diane Lynn LaPierre, 63, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away, May 10, 2019, with her loving husband by her side.

She married Paul J. LaPierre in 2004, and they lived together in Pompano Beach, Florida for eight years before relocating to Tuscaloosa in 2010. Diane is survived by her husband, mother, Rita Gaizick and two daughters, Shannon Marie Williams of Hardeeville, SC and Monica Dancy of Hollywood, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Dominick Daniel Wetzel, Leandro Michael Cardozo, Deont’e Darryl Lee Anderson and Keonte Darion Williams and eight siblings. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Gaizick, brother, Thomas Gaizick, Jr., and sister, Gail Ramsey.

Diane retired from Dunkin Donuts where she was known as Bunny, for her bright and bouncy personality. After retirement she spent most of her days working on her tan, tending to her plants and caring for her animals. She had a green thumb, a love for Native American and animal themed knick knacks and took pride in her beautiful collection. Diane was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend; who loved unconditionally and always went above and beyond to show her family, friends and pets how much she loved them. She was the most honest person you’ve ever met; she never met a stranger and was warm and welcoming to everyone. She will truly be missed.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2019, in Hilton Head Island, SC with her loving family.

Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.
