Mrs. Jane Townsend

Jane D. Townsend, 77 of Tuscaloosa Al., passed away on April 15, 2022, at Hospice of West Alabama. Memorial services will be held on April 30, 2022, at 11:00 at Valley View Baptist Church with Dr. Drew Dockery officiating. 

She is proceeded in death by parents George and Arlene Duerr, and sister Carol Johnson. 

Survivors are her husband of 55 years Jeff Townsend of Tuscaloosa, son Brad Townsend and wife Erin Townsend, grandchildren Will and Elliott Townsend, and sister Annette Douglass. 

Jane will be missed greatly by many. Her kind heart and loving personality brought comfort and joy to her family, friends, as well as the Tuscaloosa community that she served for forty plus years as a registered nurse. 

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama
