Mrs. Melinda Dionne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and accomplished attorney who lived a life marked by compassion, integrity, and love. Born in Sylacauga, Alabama, she earned her law degree from the University of Alabama and built a respected legal career. Melinda found her greatest joy in her family and cherished her husband, Donald, daughter, Amelia, son-in-law, Matt, granddaughter, Emma, and sister, Lori Ellard. Ms. Dionne was preceded in death by her mother, Betty B. Murphy. She loved cheering for Alabama football, decorating, and cooking. She will be remembered for her love, compassion, fierce protectiveness and the way she made a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Mrs. Melinda Dionne Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Riverwalk Red Pavilion; located at 103 Greensboro Ave; Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 from 5PM-7PM.
