Mom lived a very colorful and fulfilled life, while being a very loving wife and devoted mother. One of her greatest gifts in life was her ability to give to others. Clara Verner Towers and her friends there were her biggest blessings; notably Joan Carver and Mary Lancaster and the “Rolator Gang”. You made her life full and rich and she loved each of you without measure.
Special thanks to Jim and Sharon Standifer for your knowledge, love and guidance and to Wade Corley who shares his musical talent and love. Thank you to DCH Regional Medical Center and her many physicians, nurses and aides who worked tirelessly to make her better. In the end, God needed her more but we will forever be tied together by the invisible strings called heartstrings.
Memorials may be made to local chapter of American Red Cross.
Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.
