Mrs. Skeeter Marie "Shelly" Spry-Hutchins

Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Ms. Skeeter Marie "Shelly" Spry-Hutchins.

Skeeter Marie passed away in Northport Medical Center in Northport, Alabama on October 31, 2021.

Skeeter moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and married the love of her life, James Hutchins. For the past 12 years, Skeeter worked at the Front Porch Restaurant, she loved the people she worked with and the customers she became good friends with.

She had three children: a daughter who preceded her, Alexis Marie Hutchins; a son, Devon Hutchins; and Kendell Rose Hutchins. As well as her grand-baby, Scarlett Snow Rose. She also leaves a step-son, Zachary Hutchins and her mother, Sharon Hale, all from Alabama.

From New York, she leaves her sister, Stephanee Hawkes (Rick) Eberheart; step-brothers: James and Jeff Spry; her nephew, Tyler Walker; and a niece, Ryleigh Blum.

Karen (Dan) Lenord, Dale and Daryl Minor and Merel Minor of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. As well as many nieces and nephews from Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Skeeter was very close to her grandmother and grandfather, Marie and Raymond Hotaling, who preceded her in death.

For those of us who knew Skeeter; we will miss her every single day. Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. We loved you so much and will keep you alive and with us in our memories that we have of you.
