Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Ms. Annette Potter. Ms. Potter passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, AL.
God called Annette home on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Washington; her mother, Jessie Washington; her husband, James Potter; three sisters, Cliffie Bell, Yvonne Glasper, and Johnnie Thompson; one daughter, Jessie Riley; one granddaughter, Felecia Gaskin.
Annette leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters: Wynette (Tom) Robinson of Northport, AL; Kathy (John) Myrick of Tuscaloosa; four sisters: Ollie M. Cooper of Tuscaloosa, AL; Barbara Washington, Vallery (Timothy) Austin and Vanessa Wakefield, all of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, John E. Washington, Jr. and James Washington, both of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 3-5 P.M. at Northport Funeral and Cremation Service in Northport, AL.
Funeral service for Ms. Annette Potter will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11 A.M. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Ms. Potter will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Cedar Oak Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, Al.
