Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our warmest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Ms. Deborah Carver. Ms. Carver passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in Northport, AL. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 12 PM at Gilgal Baptist Church in Duncanville, AL (3000 Bear Creek Rd) with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Compassionate, sympathetic, and professional service has been entrusted to the hands and care of the Northport Funeral & Cremation Service Professional Team.
Mrs. Carver is a Graduate of Dieruff High School in Allentown, Penn. She worked in the food service most all her life before retiring. She married in DuckWood, Tennessee for 27 years to current husband Calvin Carver. Three children from previous marriage in succession are Amanda Poole, Meghan Dauscher and David Lee Dauscher. Grandchildren include Brandon Leonard, Jacob Leonard, John Michael Sullivan, Audrey Sullivan and Chloe Poole the youngest. Brothers John, Mark, Scott, sisters Darlene and Sally who passed away earlier last year, she led a very gracious and full life always quick to smile and willing to travel even if it was just the open road. She truly loved the outdoors including the mountains, waterways and the ocean blue. She gained the nickname Groot in the last year of her life which was a call to armor at times in her finale struggle with cancer. There are so many passed who now have a wonderful angel to enjoy the ages with and numerous pets who were missed but now are all joined as one. Groot is now in Heaven.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees of services and visitations are required to wear a mask and attempt to maintain 6ft social distancing.
