Northport Funeral & Cremation Service family extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Carol Brown, who passed away on August 9, 2026, in Berry, Alabama.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Brown; her parents, Benny and Odell Vaughn; her sisters, Nettie Sexton, Mary Lois Broughton, and Sybil Grammer.

She is survived by her son, Lonnie Brown (Carla); her grandchildren, Kamen Sale (Jaysie), Lane Brown (Mason), Peyton Brown (Gigi), Christian Brown (Brie), Taylor Boyd, and five great-grandchildren.

Carol Brown was born on February 4th, 1946, and passed away on August 9th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Carol was happily married to her soulmate, Terry Brown, for 64 years. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a proud hairstylist and business owner for over 40 years. She attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her friends and family. She was a faithful servant to Jesus Christ, strong-minded, generous, and loving. She was especially proud of her family. Carol was greatly loved and will always be deeply missed.

Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be held on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Yellow Creek Baptist Church, located at 15515 Yellow Creek Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406. Pastor Rickey Phillips will preside. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Lane Brown, Peyton Brown, Christian Brown, and Taylor Boyd. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kamen Sale and special friends Jewel Evans and Clem Shelby.
