Memorial Services for Ms. Peggy Carr will be held on August 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Northport Funeral & Cremation Services in Northport, AL.

Peggy is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and nephew and her Husband of 53 years, Jim Carr.

Peggy and Jim met at U of A, and both got accounting degrees and worked for and retired from UAB. After retiring, they both enjoyed cruising and traveling. They also had several cats they loved and many they fostered until adopted. She will be missed terribly by everyone who knew her. Peggy and Jim loved God, their Church, Family and the University of Alabama.
