Mrs. Sabrina Thomas Spruill

Sabrina Thomas Spruill, lovingly known as “Auntie BB,” entered eternal rest on May 9, 2026, at the age of 60. She was born on February 23, 1966, to the late Robert Lee Thomas and living Willa Mae Thomas.

Sabrina was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School and later worked at Piggly Wiggly, where many knew her for her warm spirit, loving heart, and unforgettable personality. She was also a faithful member of New Life Worship Center.

Anyone who knew Sabrina knew she was full of life. She was fun, goofy, loving, and always kept everyone laughing. She loved to dance, play basketball, draw, and gamble. Sabrina had a gentle spirit and was known as the “little big sister” who wouldn’t even fight a fly. Her presence could light up any room, and her love for family and friends was undeniable. She also shared a special bond with her Piggly Wiggly family, who loved her dearly and will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving husband, Michael Spruill; her loving mother, Willa Mae Thomas; her son, Jo’vante Thomas; her stepchildren, Larnell A. Craig and Mykelia Steele; her grandchildren, Zakira Caldwell and Maddison Steele; her siblings, Marlo Thomas (Johnny Stewart), Toni Thomas Minder (Frank Minder), Terry Thomas Sr. (Alesha Thomas), and Valarie Hurst (Crendy Hurst); her nieces, Jacquena Singleton (Donny Singleton), Kierra Doughty (Anthony Neal), Azariah Hurst, Alera Adams, and Aleah Thomas; her great-nieces, Asiah Washington, Ke’Ajah Singleton, and Amori Rice; her great-nephew, Kashton Thomas; her nephews, Robert Thomas, Tyshawn Rice, Asa Hurst, Aden Hurst, and Terry “TJ” Thomas Jr.; her godmother, Lou Adams, along with a host of other relatives, friends, and her beloved Piggly Wiggly family who will miss her deeply.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Sabrina is no longer suffering. Well done, thy good and faithful servant.

Visitation for Mrs. Sabrina Spruill will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Northport Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 505 1st Ave West, Reform, AL 35481. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, starting at 1 p.m. at New Light Baptist Church, located at 402 3rd Ave SE in Reform, AL 35481. Mrs. Sabrina will lie in state 1 hour before the service-burial to follow at Sand Hill Cemetery, Gordo AL.
